2010Cool

We have raised nearly $100,000 dollars for the kids we have helped since 2001! We hope to raise a bundle again this year! For XMAS we picked four IBEW 302  families in need and bought them   a Holiday dinner and gave them some $$$ for presents for their kids. We also provided with the help of the IBEW, Staff and members gifts for the family shelter Mountain House of  SHELTER INC., where families go to get back on their feet! Some of us took the rainsoaked ride over to IBEW Local 6's Toy Run and passed on gifts and cash to their charity...We also contributed to IBEW LOcal #617's Annual fundraiser, by their Motorcycle club the Journeymen.

I have added a file sharing page to allow folks to download our fliers and donation request letters. In the future you will be able to download pictures you like etc... Call if you have any questions!

 2009

The IRS has Ruled

After 5 years and multiple applications WYESMEN INC has finally gotten the (501c3) status we have been working towards!

This is great news because lots of potential donors will only donate to  501c3 charities, which makes sense because under IRS rules these are deductible donations. It also allows individuals to donate and recieve the deduction they deserve for charitable donations...We will be producing letterhead and generic form letters and reciepts this year for any contributors. Contact deenergizer@wyesmen.org for more information...

In regards to Ca. state taxes, most taxpayers will be able to deduct donations on their state taxes as well.

PS the IRS granted us retroactive status back to 2005 so if you need a reciept or something from a previous donation please let me know.Laughing
