To whom it may concern,

I am writing you today to request your support for the 5^th Annual Ben Forfang Memorial Rally to be held September 15, 2007 starting @ 9am. I am not sure if you are aware that I have been holding this event for five years to benefit dependant aged children of IBEW #302 members who have passed away prematurely. We have set up accounts at the credit union for each child, that they can draw on upon reaching 18 for college or other expenses incurred when they reach adulthood. To date we have raised nearly $20,000 dollars split between their funds. The fund benefits the following children; Taylor Forfang, Brielle Lewis, Stephanie Boyle, Alicia Nguyen, Jerry Parks, Tiffany Ruppaner and John Ruppaner. Some of these children have turned 18 and withdrawn their funds.

I can not imagine the hardships these children encounter from losing a parent and have vowed to help them in any way I can. Ben Forfang taught me a lot about brotherhood and helping brothers and sisters out when they need it. There is no other cause that I think is as important as helping a deceased persons children.

 Please pass this on to anyone you think appropriate and encourage them to support us in this truly important fund raising event. I have enclosed our flyer and a list of sponsorship levels.
